CHΛTEΛU is pioneering a novel primitive in DeFi. CompliDEFI is inevitable and Chateau is at the forefront of bringing institutional and high net worth clients into decentralized finance, while opening up private markets to the world This requires a more complex smart contract architecture.
There are 3 moving parts to the architecture. Our decentralized authentication system, CompliDeFi GELT implementation, and a leading order book based trading system
GELTs are essentially an ERC1155MultiSecurityToken. The contract holds several ERC3643 based on different classes of assets underlying the GELT.
The management of compliant transactions through GELT tokens will be based on 3 main areas as well, creating a decentralized validation system:
  • Identity contract, which allows for the creation of a dual globally accessible identity for every stakeholder.
  • A set of validation certificates, these certificates are the claims, described in the ERC-734 and ERC-735 standards used by the identity contract.
  • An eligibility verification system whose role is to act as a filter of all the transactions of tokenized securities and will check the validation certificates of the stakeholders. It will check that the receiver has the rights to receive the tokens following the specific compliance rules and issuer requirements applicable for this specific asset.
These 3 key elements allow issuers to use a decentralized validator to control transfers and enforce compliance on the holders of the security token he has issued. The Validator includes rules for the whole offering (e.g. managing the max number of holders allowed in specific markets, when such rule apply), and rules for each investors (e.g. KYC or issuer-defined eligibility criteria) thanks to the identity management system.
CHΛTEΛU's order book system is based on Seaport, an emerging and leading NFT marketplace concept. Seaport's framework has 35% cheaper fees for users than traditional order book marketplace systems, it allows Chateau to sell several different assets at once, and to fill partial orders. Traditional order book marketplace systems cannot do this and suffer a massive disadvantage.
